Julia rejoined JA Europe in October 2019 as Assistant to Director for Special Events after having worked at JA during her Erasmus semester in 2018/2019. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Multilingual Communication with a major in economy from the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne. After her graduation from high school, she spent one year in Togo, West Africa, where she worked in a Youth Centre and in an orphanage and taught German to secondary school students. Living in Togo has had a significant impact on her life and made her become aware of the importance of education to increase young people’s employability as well as of the need to create jobs in order to provide opportunities for young people.
She is now happy to be back in Brussels and ready to support the JA Events Team.
