Simona joined the JA Europe team in November 2019 bringing 10 years of experience working across the private, public and charity sectors. She has been working in the education field for the last six years, both at practitioner and strategy level, across different European education systems. In 2013, she starting teaching Business and Economics to students aged 13-19 in London, part of the Teach First programme. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of teaching in underprivileged communities, she worked on developing teacher-training curricula with Teach for All network partners, developing a keen interest for cross-country sharing of best practice.
She has a wide experience of fostering and managing business-school partnerships after working at Business in the Community, the UK’s largest business-led membership organisation dedicated to responsible business. Throughout her career, she has been actively seeking opportunities that bring change and societal impact and has worked on various corporate social responsibility projects. Simona holds a First Class Honours degree in Economics and a Teaching Qualification from UCL Institute of Education London.
At JA Europe, she will be working on the EE-HUB, bringing together her experiences to influence international stakeholders to increase the quality, quantity and impact of entrepreneurship education in Europe.
