César joined the JA Europe team in February 2020 as Communications Manager.
Over the last years, César's career in European affairs has brought him close to project management, communications and public policy. Prior to joining JA Europe, he worked in the Public and Governmental Affairs Department of ExxonMobil EU and the communication unit of the EEA and Norway Grants' secretariat in Brussels. He also gained hands-on experience in the European Union as a trainee in the Consular Crisis Management division of the European External Action Service in 2015. In addition, he has participated in and organised several Model United Nations simulations across Europe, learning how to tackle political challenges from different perspectives.
César holds an LL.M. in European Law from the University of Stockholm and a MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy from the College of Europe in Bruges. He also holds a Bachelor degree in Law and in Political Science and Administration from the University Carlos III of Madrid.
Passionate about languages, he is fluent in Spanish, English and French, and has working knowledge of Swedish and Italian.
