EE-HUB Financial Education Round Table
27 September 2016 Location: BrusselsJA Europe and Visa launched a new research on financial education, as an endeavour to analyse the financial skills gap faced by young people in Europe. The Financial Education Roundtable will present the results of the research and discuss how to implement its policy recommendations.
The research combines:
- A pan-European survey of 500 members of the business community to identify the demand of financial skills
- 5 national case studies based on the good practices in Poland, Romania, Spain, UK, and Turkey
Additionally, an ad hoc working group on financial education has been created within EE-HUB, involving the European Banking Federation, the OECD, Vienna University, Visa, and JA Europe in order to provide inputs to the research and to produce a set of recommendations on the topic.
