JA Europe has announced that Caroline Jenner is leaving her position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JA Europe in order to take on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) at JA Worldwide, starting February 2020.

Each year, thousands of JA alumni enter Europe’s economy as potential entrepreneurs. Since 2013, AmCham EU and JA Europe team up through the AmCham EU Youth Entrepreneurship Award to recognize young people who have participated in a JA programme and are now running businesses with strong growth potential.

Five JA alumni are in the running for the AmCham EU Youth Entrepreneurship Award 2019. They were selected amongst 19 candidates from across Europe who all have participated in a JA programme, have made it past the initial start-up phase and have a business concept with strong growth potential.

In its third edition, FERD’s LIST celebrated eleven honourees during a ceremony at the Vienna University of Economics in front of 400 young people from 60 countries attending the JA Global Alumni Conference.

The official launch of the Youth Employment Magazine is announced on the UN International Day of Friendship. Nearly 200 institutions from 26 European countries implementing projects financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway unite to share results of their initiatives aimed at combatting youth unemployment in Europe.
