EU institutions recognise JA best practices
A new report “Entrepreneurship Education at School in Europe” by Eurydice, the EU agency responsible for cooperation in the field of education, captures the latest developments in the field of entrepreneurship education across Europe. National JA best practices are included, representing examples of strategies, curricula, learning outcomes, and teacher education. In total, JA is mentioned 39 times in the report. Special attention is paid to the Innovation Cluster for Entrepreneurship Education (ICEE).

EP Report: ‘Skills policies for fighting youth unemployment’
The report highlights youth entrepreneurship as a way to reduce youth unemployment and boost the employability of young people. It notably mentions the significant role of the Entrepreneurial Skills Pass (ESP) as well as the growing importance of entrepreneurial skills.

EU Commission unveils ‘Employment and Social Situation in Europe 2015’
The Commission released its 2015 overview of the most recent developments, trends and challenges in the employment and social fields. It notably concludes that “the lack of entrepreneurship education remains a significant bottleneck to stimulating self-employment and entrepreneurship in the EU”.

'Promoting Youth Entrepreneurship through Education and Training' Report
Approved on 8 September 2015, the report is calling for the education systems to include entrepreneurship as a topic in the national education curricula at all levels and is inviting the EC to support and coordinate this process through the ERASMUS+ Programme.

Entrepreneurship at a Glance 2015
The OECD published in August ‘Entrepreneurship at a Glance 2015’ a report presenting key developments on entrepreneurship in 36 countries on the basis of harmonised indicators.
