The Entrepreneurial School

The Entrepreneurial School (TES) Guide is part of a large entrepreneurship education initiative in Europe - The Entrepreneurial School project. The Virtual Guide to Entrepreneurial Learning is a practical and useful resource for teachers in primary, secondary and vocational schools.

With more than 125 entrepreneurial tools and methods in several languages, as well as good practice examples and self-assessment tools, the TES Guide offers educators material to help apply entrepreneurial learning in any subject area and for any age group. TES is also useful in initial teacher training and continuous professional development.

Teachers have recommended and reviewed all the tools and methods we present in the TES Guide, and we are currently building a community of more than 3,000 teachers in 22 European countries.

The Entrepreneurial School won co-funding from the European Community, Competitiveness and Innovation Programme (CIP) and supported by Accenture, Clifford Chance, HP, Intel and Virke. The initiative is led by JA Europe in partnership with a consortium of 10 European and national organisations.


The Entrepreneurial School Awards is an annual recognition of the outstanding primary and secondary schools championing entrepreneurship education.

For the fourth edition of the Entrepreneurial School Awards, entrepreneurial (academic and vocational) schools across Europe will be selected at national level for their entrepreneurial vision and outstanding implementation of entrepreneurship education programmes. Their representatives will meet in Vienna on 7-8 November in the context of the European Vocational Skills Week, including the TES Awards ceremony hosted by Siemens. They will have the opportunity to network, exchange best practices and will receive the European Award.
