BNY Mellon 'Digital Innovation Award'

Digital technology is changing the world. Statistics show that 65% of children entering schools today will work in jobs in the future that do not yet exist. Digital can be a powerful tool to transform people’s lives and communities for the better and to offer products and services that did not exist before. BNY Mellon is supporting the Digital Innovation Award as part of the company’s global strategy focused on providing the future workforce with the technology and business skills needed for employment in the digital age.

Student companies coming from 9 European countries and the UAE have participated during an entire academic year in the activities of the JA Company Programme (2019-2020). Among the many mini-companies that have been established as a result, those that developed innovative and digital products and services are now able to compete for the award. The shortlisted teams will be participating in the Online Competition Final on 15 June 2020, presenting their business ideas to Leonique van Houwelingen - CEO of BNY Mellon's European Bank.
