JA Lithuania was recognized as the best-in-class JA Model Organisation 2023 for its outstanding performance and leadership in strengthening JA’s positioning with a focus on innovation and new strategic initiatives.

The TJ Bata Quality Award was announced at the 2023 JA Europe Annual General Assembly in London earlier this week. This year, the criteria was updated to better align with the evolving education and entrepreneurial landscape. JA Lithuania scored highest across all KPIs and excelled in areas including growth in student reach and volunteer engagement, innovation in the programmatic offer and new activities, and alignment with JA’s European strategy in supporting the creation of a Venture Fund.

The Jury of the TJ Bata Quality Award was composed of representatives of the Bata Shoe Foundation as well as JA Europe Board members. Speaking on behalf of the Jury of the TJ Bata Quality Award, Elvira Pignal, Trustee of Bata Shoe Foundation stated: “The winning organisation not only fulfilled the eligibility requirements, but also excelled at demonstrating the values and ethos enshrined in Thomas J Bata’s business philosophy, which values the entrepreneurial capabilities of the individual as well as of the group as a whole.
