Crown prince(ss) for a day
JA Norway, News from the Network
"I will never forget this day" said Natalie Hettervik Flesjaa (18) after shadowing H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon through an ordinary day at work.
17 years old, Natalie was a successful CEO for Smartfood UB. Due to her good results as a leader and the outstanding achievements of the company, Natalie was carefully chosen as one out of 30 young entrepreneurs to participate in Leaders for a Day in Norway.
JA Norway and ManpowerGroup were the event initiators, which first saw light 13 years ago. The aim is to recognize young entrepreneurs that “go the extra mile”, give them insight into the responsibilities and tasks of top leaders, and elevate the status of young entrepreneurs in society.
"We are very thankful for the Crown Prince’s contribution to expose young entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in education. We don’t know what we will live from in the future, but we know who. Young people will be the job creators in the future” says Tor Kaapvik, acting CEO in JA Norway.
Three ministers and top leaders from some of the biggest companies and organisations in Norway participated in this year’s Leaders-for-a-day. The leaders, communications departments and students were active on social media through #lederforendag, causing the hashtag to trend on Twitter in Norway on 14 October.
